Our last night in Xining was spent at Randy and Fiona's house. Over the 27 years they have been in China they have grown and prospered in business and family. Randy is from Arkansas and Fiona is from Scotland, and they have raised their family in China!

Chase and Marissa introduced us and this loving family welcomed us into their house to eat a very hardy American meal of pulled pork with real BBQ sauce and real salad which seems difficult to find in China. After we were encouraged and well fed, we made our long journey to Lanzhou (lan-jo).

Lanzhou was considered the Most Polluted City in the World in 1998 and has thankfully fallen below the top 10 since then. The City of Lanzhou has 3.7 MILLION people living in it. This is almost exactly how many people live in the State of Oklahoma! However it is consider an average-below average sized city in China. After all China has literally 1 BILLION more people than the US does.

We made our way though the crowded and exciting streets of Lanzhou and saw some very interesting things...

Want to take a guess at what this is? --->

The city has a very different feel to it, and also offers some very different foods to eat...

O great! Here's some sheep face to eat! Would anyone like some sheep face to eat?... Anyone?...Anyone at all?...
