A Day in Dandong 4-13-12

We stayed the night in Shenyang and had a hearty breakfast of seaweed, hard-boiled egg, cucumber and carrot slices, something pickled and heavily salted, and dumplings filled with red bean paste. Mmmm!
At the bus station we found our first koi pond!
And from there took a 3 hour bus ride to the eastern border of China. There, we visited an encouraging coffee shop called Peter’s and peered over the river to the country on the other side.
Great Coffee! “Best Coffee on the Border” actually!
